Oy 3, 1999 A Book Report | I am reading an interesting book ealled, "The Birch and the Star, and Other Stories" by Gudrun ‘Thorne Thomson. She is a Norse woman who came from Norway. It is especially interesting to me because the fourth grade is studing about Norse people. There is one story that I like best. t is ‘ «toOry “ ,‘ innvvate ki Finland. â€" A great fire came and a litâ€" tle boy and his sister got lost. They were saved and wandered to Sweden. â€" There they found some one to take care of them but they soon started home to Finland. The story is called the "Birch and Star" because there was a birch tree in front of their old home, and they followed two birds that sang prettily and lead their way. . They_ for their house because there was a birch Thursday, Nov tree in front of their home and at night two stars that shoneâ€"bright. Marian Mussér, Grade 4. The grizzly turned and ran.. ; Winnie the Pooh | Bump, bump, bunip, came Winnieâ€" theâ€"Pooh down the stairs while Chrisâ€" topher Robin was holding one hand.. The book of "Winnieâ€"theâ€"Pooh" is very funny. It is about a little bear andâ€" his experiences. â€" Winnieâ€"theâ€" Pooh has many friends who are Pigâ€" lct, Rabbit,â€"Owl, Kangaâ€"and â€"her â€"baby Roo, also Rabbit‘s relations, lonesome Eyou and Pooh‘s best friend of ail, Christopher Robin. In each chapter it makes you laugh. One tells about Winneâ€"theâ€"Pooh and his friends tryâ€" ing to find the North Pole.. Another tells about all the animals capturing Roo, and Piglet having a bath. There are also many other funny adventures. I â€"â€"enjoyed â€" "Winnieâ€"theâ€"Pooh" â€" very much,.â€"Andâ€"Lâ€"still â€"hear the bump, the captain‘s little girl.
