Porches ind Garden Gites Two of the new exhibits ‘aronsing a great deal of interest are the "Porehes" and "Garden Gates." There will be 10 of these porches, each 10x12 feet, to be decorated md fur- nished by different garden clubs. and to be Judged on procticnbility and Bowdr arrangement. The Ravinia Garden club has entered this compe- tion, and the committee in charge is busy with plans. Working on this porch ofters n great deal of oppor- tunity for displaying decorative abil- ity, and Mrs. Robert McKnight, the chairman, has mnny interesting ideas in mind. Working with her are Mrs, F. C. Atwill, Mrs. M. Hard-ere, and Mrs. Wm. Ross. The "Garden Gate" presents a. lit- tle different problem, but one equally as interesting. Each will occupy s space 6x12 feet, and show u path- way and planting beyond. There will be 20 of these exhibits, and an mt-' usual gate, and artistic planting will count I great deal in the judging.
