Thursday, May 15. 1930 Appointment Made at Meeting Monday _ of Village Board b On Monday evening, May 5th, at the Masonic Temple, the village board of Deerfield convened. Following a brief business session presided over by President W..W. Geary, the newly elected president, James Hood, took the choir and two trustees, ghrist Willman and In Hole, who succeed- ed F. J. Labahn and Conrad Ueht. man. In a short talk before leaving, Mr. Geary urged that the board Ind the people of Deerfield lend their hearty support and eo-operation to the new president. Before calling the board to order for business Mr. Hood outlined a few things he hoped to do tor Deerfield in the near future, things which no doubt would nbt only be 3 credit to it but make it one to the choicest spots alone the North Shore.
