Thursday, May 29, 1930 Deputy Collector at Waukegan Reports Number Will Ex. ceed That Total More than 400 residents of Lake county have been found delinquent in the payment of income tax, it was disclosed recently by Frank Wortusk, deputy internal revenue collector at Waukegan. All of the delinquents are subject to payment of penalty fur their delinquency. . While some of' the delinquent' have failed to pay on their assess- ments the majority who will be forced to pay a penalty have neglected to file any sort of a schedule as to the amount of their incomes for the year. Lehmann's aver- sion to 'hot dog stands‘ kept the Sand Lake school intact for several year: prior to his. death but with his pass- ing. according to T. A, Simpson, the school probably will be abandoned. But two pupils reside in the dis- trict and there is no necessity for the operation of it any longer, the super- intendent pointed out last week.
