Mrs. F. W. Russo of Second street who was ill in the Highland Park thospital last week returned on Monâ€" day to her home. A reception for the George Rockenâ€" bach grand children was held in the afternoon. + Hold Family Reunion the adâ€" Jerry Savage, six year ol dson of Mr. and Mrs, Andrew Savage of Deerâ€" field avenue, narrowly escaped death early Saturday evening when he was struck by a car driven by James Hood, Jr., on Hazel avenue. Jerry stepped off the Johnson ice truck, parked on the side of the road, directly in the path of the approach» ing car. Young Hood apparently had his car under control as he was able to stop it within a few feet of the accident. The child was taken to the Highâ€" land Park hospital and while he is in a critical condition, it is believed he will recover.
