Webb Griffen, father of Mrs. Chas. E. Piper of Chestnut street, died at the Piper residence on Wednes day Oct. 15, 1930. J. Webb Griffin Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Second Presbyterian church parlors, Evanston. Interment at Memorial Park. Young Pe$le'l Rally in Waukegan Sunday On Sunday, Oct. 26, a rally of the young people of Lake county churches will be held at the First M. E. Church of Waukegan. Beginning at 2:30 p.m. an international program will be given. The speakers will be young people from the different continents ovtside of America. * A fellowship supper will be served at the church and the evening mass mecting will be addressed by Miss Jane Addams of Hull House, Chiâ€" cago, one of the world‘s noblest woâ€" men. She will speak on Internationâ€" alism. Many Lake county churches are adâ€" journing their evening services so that their young people and leaders may take advantage of this rare opportunâ€" ity to hear great speakers. ‘This ‘program has been arranged by the Lake County Council of Reâ€" ligious Education.
