One Christmas time I noticed the Wolf patrol did not leave when the troop meeting was dismissed. A little later they came to me and the patrol leader'thryst a package at me 'Gii haltingly made a" little speech to the effect that this was a Christ- mas present from weir patrol. The scouts in this patrdl were all from homes of the must modest cir- cumshartees. I knew this patrol louder was helping out the family in- come by selling bakery goods from door to door. Is it any wonder that I cherish their gift far more than other gifts of much greater intrinsic WILMETTE BRAESIDE KENILWOWH QAVINIA‘ INDIAN HILL HIGHLAND DARK1 WINNETKA HIGHWOOD HUBBARDWOODS EVERETT [ GLENCOE LAKE FOREST value I wish I knew where all the mem- hers of that patrol are today.
