TI Lasts Through Friday; Committees The Book Fair of the Ravinia and Braeside schools, sponsored by the Ravinia school P. T. A.. about which so much publicity has been given in order to acquaint the men and wo. men of Highland Park and Ravinia with this splendid opportunity of purchasing books from a well-selected but comparatively small exhibit, will open Monday evening, Nov, 17 in the Ravinia Village house, at 7:30 pm. The central committee working on the fair with all of the enthusiasim of the youth for whom they are work- ing, is headed by Mrs. Howard G.- Kornbiith, program chairman of the P. T. A., and other members are Mrs. Leonard Ricser. Miss Harlem and Mrs. Elder, Miss Fulton from the Ravinia school, and Miss Marxsen from Bmeside. Mr. and Mrs. John Van Bergen. Mrs. George Kirkgasser, and Mrs. Arthur Raff. P. Moose to Hold Masque Ball Nov. 25 Members of Highland Park Lodge No. 446, Loyal Order of Moose, will huld a Thanksgiving dance and mas- querade party on Tuesday evening, Nov. 25 at the Y. W. C. A. on Laurel avonuo. heginninz " eight o'clock. Good music will be provided for the evening and prizes will be awarded for the best costumes. The purpose of this dance is to raise funds for the children's annual Christmas party which the local lodge gives to the children of its members every year. The annual Christmas party will he held at the Y. W. C. A. hall on Sunday evening, Dee. 21. This party is a real went for the children and i: looked forward to each year with much anticipation. In this way they bring to the children some of the old time Christmas cheer. Being an or- ganization whose main purpose is the welfare of the child it is hoped to continue this party every year.
