Thursday, Nov. 20, 1930 The fair will open with a meeting of the P. T. A. at which Miss New- comb. the school librarian, will give a talk on “Children's Books." The Book Fair sponsored by the Lincoln school P. T, A. with its splen- did selection of well chosen books for children, will open on Wednesday, aft- cinoon. Dee. 3 at 3 o’clock. Books of every description to please a child will be on Halo and it is hoped that the parents will take ad- vantage of this opportunity by buy- ing hooks for Christmas gifts. Meet Dee. 3 Members of Highland Park lodge No. 446 Loyal Order of Moose are planning to hold a masquerade ball and Thanksgiving party Tuesday eve- nine, Nov. 25 at 8:30 o'clock at the Y. W. C. A, on Laurel avenue. Good music will be provided and prizes will be awarded for the best display of eustnmes. All members and their friends, and friend's friends are most enrdially invited to attend. The pro- eeeds of this party are to go toward providing the annual Christmas party for the children. The annual Christmas party fur the children will be held this year on Sunday evening, Dee. 21 at the Y. W. C. A. Cards are being mailed to all members asking them to send in the names of the ehildren so that no one will be' overlooked or dissa- pointed. It is most earnestly hoped that all members will support the Thanksgiving party and dance in order that the Christmas party will be a huge success. Carl J.
