Striving to make the tenth season one of particular value and interest, the Circuit theatre has selected this play as one which should prove of great appeal to north shore audiences. Galsworthy is said by great critics to stand alone as master among the conâ€" temporary dramatists of the broadly romantic medium, ‘and his "A Bit O‘ Love" is one of his greatest plays and at the same time one of his more seldom produced works. f Serious Play Following close after the hilarious "Nellie the Beautiful Cloak Model," and the melodramatic "The Racket," this very dramatic and emotional play will provide another unit in the wellâ€" balanced _ and â€" completely â€"rounded repertory â€" toward which the Circuit theatre strives.. "A Bit O‘ Love" will appeal to those who look to the organâ€" ization for an occasional serious play seriously â€" produced. Mr. Galsworthy writes into it a masterly character delineation, delicate moods and finer human susceptibilities, and he gives the play a theme which lifts the.story to heights of dramatic art. Truly ‘!hoso who look for a fine play will find it in "A Bit O‘ Love." 1 Mr. Otis Directing â€" Samuel S. Otis of Winnetka, presiâ€" dent of the Circuit theatre and . wellâ€" known figure in the dramatic circles | . A Denver man, in a bridge game, shot his partner for trumping his 1ace and learned too late that the |rmrt.m'r had held 13 trumps and couldn‘t help it. â€" After this perhaps lhe will not be so impetuous. The cast is made up of north shore ‘people, several of them very well known for their acting ability, and as something unusual and decidâ€" edly interesting, the cast includes a number of children. Circuit theatre technicians, and no effort is spared to make the performance of "A Bit O‘ Love" outstanding in Cireuit theatre achievement.
