A committee representing Deerfleld Post, American Legion, headed by W. K. Hout as their commander, met on July 7 with M. Jones, representative of the Universal Producing company of Fairfield, Ilowa, to complete arâ€" rangements for the producing of the famous rookie: comedy "Corporal Eagen" to be staged on September 3 and 4 in Deerfield. Johnson of Todd court was struck on the head over the left eye annual picnic‘ of the Itaska Evangelâ€" ical Sunday school at Itaska, I!l.
