The Alden Studio was chosen as one _ of the seven decorating concerns waus of such high standard as to make them eligible to decorate one of the special rooms for exhibit at the Naâ€" tional ~Conventionâ€"of Interior Decoraâ€" tors at Grand Rapids. Each of the twentyâ€"seven decorators, chosen from the leading cities of the United Sta arranged a room at the exhibit showâ€" ing the correct use of furniture and the proper selection of wall coverâ€" ings, drapery and upholstery fabriu‘ and floor materials. The walls of this room were done in Rapids furniture men told of the need of the influence of the decorators in the correcting of the predominating designs of furniture and in the selecâ€" tion of proper fabrics and finishes for furniture.
