Meierhoff came to Highland Park in 1900 attending the school here and becoming very interested in church work, holding the office of president of the Young People‘s try. He had several charges in 1Ihâ€" noit in the Evangelical association and when America entered the war, as Y. M. C. A. chaplain at Great Lakes and served until the end of the war. Leaving the Y.M.C.A. he entered the Presbyterian association serving in Ilowa and Nebraska until his death. He was a member of the Masonic lodge at Bridgeport, Nebr., and a member of the Mystic Workers‘ pastor for the last three years.
