Dr. Practorius will have charge of the Evangelistic services each évening and the Bible study periods each morning: owns and maintains a fine and comâ€" modious cottage on the grounds, which is used by its members and friends while attending the camp. There are approximately 75 other cottages also two large tabernacles several dormitories and a large hotel sen officiated. Siemâ€" Mr. Banta was very loyal to his home and to his companion. His attitude toward life was one of opâ€" timism and hope. Even during his recent illness, he looked upon his handicap as one of the inescapable experiences of human kind. He fought like a brave and gallant solâ€" dier, without complaint to the end. He leaves to mourn his wife, Mrs. Minnic Hatch Banta; one sister, Mrs. Edith Garden of Berkely, Calif.; other relatives and a great host of friends both locally and in the industrial wold. ‘ Mr. Banta was also vitally interâ€" ested in music. Much of his leisure time was devoted to the cause of music, . He mqn,m: participated in oratorios, choruses and quartets and gave many years of his time to the ministry of song at the Woodâ€" lawn Presbyterian Church of Chiâ€" Mr. Banta was a great lover of beauty and art. He was extremely fond of flowers and of his garden. He spent much of his spare time deâ€" veloping beauty spots around about his home. UPHOLSTERING Cabinet Work and Refini Mr. Banta was born in New York City. While yet an infant he moved toxamsm'fihhhm“ the age of 23 he came to Chiâ€" cago, where he entered the employ of the W. G. Lloyd Printing Co. He worked for this concern for a peâ€" riod of 20 consecutive years. It was there that he laid a good foundation for a successful business career. About 20 years ago an opportunity presented itself for Mr. Banta to go into a business of his own. At that time he helped to establish a firm that is now known as the Cross and Banta Printing Co,. located at 501 South Dearborn Street in Chiâ€" Francis S. Banta, a resident of this city for the past seven years, died at his home at 310 Roger Wilâ€" liams Avenue on Saturday of the past week.
