Quality T ools Dental, Health Clinic s Closes In Deerfield The dental and health clinic sponâ€" sored by the Deerfield American Leâ€" gion Auxiliary, was brought to a close Friday, Aug. 17, with the final injection of diphtheria toxoid. There were 66 smallpox vaccinaâ€" tions and 56 diphtheria innoculations given. A total of 96 children were given service in one or more of the three forms open. â€" ' The Auxiliary wishes, thru The Hizhland Park Press, to convey its sincere appreciation to the local doeâ€" tors and dentists, as the services rendered by them would represent ian expenditure of several hundred | dollars if paid for. Only through the able assistance of four local physicians, Dr. Sugâ€" den, Dr. Metcalf, Dr. C. J. Davis and Dr. Dorothy Davis, and the two local dentists, Dr. Spriggs and Dr. O‘Connell, was it possible for the Auxiliary to render this service to the community, we are told. The committee, of which Mrs. A. R. Warner was chairman, has reâ€" ceived many expressions of gratiâ€" tude from parents who have taken advantage of this opportunity. 1 | _A luncheon card party will be ‘hnld Wedne:sday, Aug. 29, at 1 p.m. ‘at the Deerfield Masonic Temple, | sponsored by the Deerfield Chapter | of the Eastern Star.
