Mrs. Plagge, who was Sarah Fritsch, a daughter of Frederick and Barbara Fritsch, was bornâ€" on April 9, 1851, in West Deermil‘d Township. Her early life was spent in this vicinity and she attended the Wilmot school. She married Henry Plagge March 22, 1878 and they lived in the Fritsch homestead on County Line Road. In 1894 they built a fine brick home in Deerfield (now occupied by Mr. and Mrs. Edâ€" win Weigle) where they lived unâ€" til the death of Mrs. Plagge in 1922.
