Bruso‘s talk on Friday afternoon (tomorrow) at the reguâ€" lar meeting of the Deerfield Gramâ€" mar School Parentâ€"Teacher associaâ€" tion. The Rev. Mr. Bruso, minister of the Bethlchem church, is a very able speaker and scholar, and his message will be‘in keeping with the coming holiday season, DEERFIELD "LOCALS Christmas carols will be sung by the Bethichem church trio, Mrs. Harold Giss, Mrs. Harold Peterson, and Miss Evelyn Sturti. The meeting will convene at 2:30 p. m. in the school gymnasium, with Mrs. Leslie Brand, the president, presiding. Mrs. George R. Bailey, program chairman, has arranged all programs for the year to carry out the theme of "Adequate Parentâ€" hood." Tea will be served at the conclusion of the meeting with the mothers of Miss Moffett‘s third CITIZENSHIP The eighth grade children of the four local schools (Deerfield, Wilâ€" mot, Bannockburn and Holy Cross) are going to Waukegan on Thursday (today) to attend a session of the Naturalization Court with Judge Ralph Dady presiding. They will also make a tour of the court house. This trip is sponsored by the Deerâ€" field Unit of the American Legion Auxiliary of which Mrs. William A. Tennerman is Americanism chairâ€" man. REUNION The Harold Wennersten home on Springfield avenue was the scene of a family reunion last Friday, Four generations were represented. On Mrs. Wennersten‘s maternal side were her grandmother, Mrs. Lillie Hershee and mother, Mrs. June Riel, both of Chicago, and her little son, James, who was two years old on November 16, which completes four generations. On her paternal side was Mrs. Wennersten‘s father‘s mother, Mrs. Nancy Riel of Chiâ€" eago, making a first, second and fourth generation on that side, to be present. Great aunts who saw little James for the first time were Mrs. Maude Gilmore of Moline, Ill., and Mrs. Susie Cox of Chicago. Another aunt, Mrs. Thelma Warke and her little. danohter. Boyle is president of the association. wWOMEN‘S ASSOCIATION MOVIES The film "One Hundred Years of Presbyterian Foreign Missions" will be shown on Sunday evening at 7:45 o‘clock in the Northbrook Presbyâ€" terian church, with the Deerfield and Wheeling churches uniting for the service. Messages will be given by the ministers of the three churches, Rev. Donald C. Morrisson of Wheelâ€" ing, Dr. W. F. Weir of Deerfield, and Rev. A. J. Wold of Northbrook. The Deerfield village board of trustees will meet on Tuesday eveâ€" ning, December 14, in the village ofâ€" fices in the Masonic Temple. It is reported that the National Tea Co. will move from the Deerâ€" field State Bank building the first of the year and that R. A. Nelson‘s Grocery and Market will move from the Stryker building into the store vaeated by the National Tea Co. Ralph Ritter will be host to the young people of the Presbyterian church at a fireside meeting on Sunâ€" day evening at seven o‘clock at his home on Osterman avenue. Mrs. Charles V.
