High School Band Wins First Honors In State Last Saturday night at about 11 pm. in the University of Ilincis auditorium, the platform announcer sent ninety Highland Park high school band members into rounds of cheers by announcing that theirs was one of the five bands selected ta represent Illinois in tke Naâ€" tional Band Contest in Elkhart on May 2ist..
