On Saturday eveâ€" ning fortyâ€"six friends and relatives called at their new home to celeâ€" brate a "houseâ€"warming." The sixâ€" teen from Deerfield who attended the party were Captain and Mrs. J. BAPTISMS Robert James McNeil, son of Mr. and Mrs. James ~McNeil (Eva Lange) was baptized on Sunday, May 15, at St. Paul‘s Evangelical church with Rev. F. G. Piepenbrok officiating. The little lad, who was born on Dec. 8, 1987, had as his sponsors, Miss Ruth McNeil and Archie Antes. LeRoy William Renis, who was born April 7, 1938, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Renis of Morton Grove was baptized by the Rev. Piepenbrok, on Sunday, May 22. Sponsors were Miss Ella Renis and William Wolff. CIVIC ASSOCIATION The Deerfleld Civic association will meet on Wednesday evening, June 1, at 8 o‘clock in the Deerfield Grammar school. Six new members are to be elected to the board of directors. CEMETERY ASSOCIATION The Deerfleld Cemetery associaâ€" tion will hold a business meeting on Friday (tomorrow) at 4 p.m. in the Town hall for the purpose of receiving reports of the secretary and treasurer, and the transaction of such other business as may come before it.
