PAGE SIX E. L. MILLARD FAMILY SCATTERED It is not unusual for Mrs. Everett L. Millard‘s family to be scattered by travel, but the distance between its members this summer is someâ€" what astounding. Mrs, Millard, in fact, is the most stayâ€"atâ€"home of them all, but the first of next week even she is deserting Highland Park for a trip to Fish Creek, Wis., to visit Miss Frances Whedon., Miss Whedon and her niece, Franâ€" ces Jeffery, have a house there this season and they invite their friends up on shifts. Mrs. Millard will turn homeward from Fish Creek long tn-‘ fore her son and daughterâ€"inâ€"law, Mr .and Mrs. Malcolm Stuart Milâ€" lard return from California. They have been in Berkeley for two weeks visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wesley Wentworth, and beâ€" ing widely entertained. Just a year ago yesterday the former Margaret Hill Wentworth and Mr. Millard were married in her parents‘ Berkâ€" marked quietly. ‘They intend to spend part of their twoâ€"month stay in the West at the Millard cam exploring mountain trails and lea ing a leisurely life. Everett Millard Jr. prefers a vaâ€" cation on the lake with a good stiff wind to drive his sailboat along. He is preparing now for a voyage in his boat and he may be off before his sister, Elizabeth Millard, arrives from New York for several months in Highland Park. For the last three winters Miss Millard has lived in Greenwich Village writing and doing book reviews. Her mother expects to remain here at least two months before she goes back East. Nass, who with his wife were spending a few days vacation in Waukegan with relatives, had gone to the club with his two brothersâ€" inâ€"law for a game‘of golf. Apparâ€" ently in the best of health, there was no indication that he was ill, and the attack was very sudden. _ A resident of Highland Park his entire life, he was born Jan. 3, 1897, the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Nass. At that time the family reâ€" sided on Green Bay road near Elm Place. His mother ‘passed away April 2, 1909.
