Their attendâ€" ants were Miss Margaret Roemer of Kenosha, aâ€"sister of the bride, and Henry Petersen of Deerfield, brother of the groom. A reception followed at the home of the bride‘s parents in Kenosha, after which the young couple left on a short trip to Fish Creek, Wis., and are now at home to their friends at their apartment on Hazel avenue. W, Peterson, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Peterson, will be married on Saturday, September 24, to Miss Bernice Sullivan of Chicago, The wedding vows will be exchanged at St. Hilary‘s church in Chicago followed by a reception at the Hotel Sovereign. The groom, who is more familiarly known by his nickname "Dubby," was born and reared in Deerfield. He is named for the late C. W. Pettis. He is a brother of Ralph Peterson of Knollwood road. JUNIOR MUSIC Mrs. Irl Marshall and Mrs. Wenâ€" dall Goodpasture were hostesses at a tea for mothers of children interâ€" ested in musicâ€"the choir and orâ€" chestra â€" at the Deerfield Presbyâ€" terian church, on Friday afternoon. Mrs. Marshall will direct the or> chestra and Mrs. Goodpasture, the choir. All children interested in music are invited to attend rehearâ€" sals. The choir will meet each Friâ€" day afternoon at 3 o‘clock and the orchestra, only once a month, on the Friday preceding the first Sunâ€" day of the month, at 4 o‘clock in the afternoon. DEDICATION The blessing of the new parochial school and rectory of the Holy Cross church will take place on Sunday. _ The opening â€" ceremony will be a mass at 11:30 a.m. with Rt. Rev. F. A. Purcell of St. Mel‘s church, Chicago, and Rev. Gerald Scanlon of St. Dorothy‘s church, Chicago, assisting the pastor, Rev. James V. The first meeting of the Wilmot Mother‘s club was held on Tuesday at the Wilmot school with Mrs. James Mailfald as social hostess.
