DRUM MOVING TO NEW YORK For the 18th time since the World War Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Drum are moving, }hll time to Governors Isâ€" land, N. Y., where Maj. Gen. Drum will be in command of the 24 Corps Area. Between now and the first of November the Fort Sheridan colâ€" only is entertaining for them at a series of farewell partiesâ€"mostly informal because Gen. Drum will be away so much of the time on inâ€" spection tours. s .Last Saturday night, however, the post‘s autumn social season openâ€" ed with a "hop" being given in honâ€" or of the Drums and of Brig. Hosts were the officers of Fort Sherâ€" idan and their wives. Gen. and Mrs. Drum also will be guests of homor at a tea dance the officers at headquarters and their wives are planning. The date for that party has not yet been set. The Drums and their daughter, Anna Carroll, have been at Fort Sheridan just a year, having come here from Hawaii.
