Badminton To Be Held Tuesdays At Lincoln School Four persons were injured in an automobile collision at the intersecâ€" tion of Deerfleld road and Skokie boulevard, Friday evening, when Richard Arno, 22, of Toledo, Ohio ran a red light and crashed into a car driven by Mrs. Anna Walters, 649 Glenview avenue. Mrs. Walters and Arno are still in the Highland Park hospital, where they were reâ€" moved following the accident. According to the local police, Arno, a chauffeur for the Kenosha Wis., Auto Transport Co., was to blame for the accident. Operating two new cars, hitched in transit, north on Skokie road, he failed to stop for the traffic light and crashed into the east bound car. Two CCC youths riding with Arno were slightly hurt. They were Jack Green, 309 N. Maple aveâ€" nue, Libertyville, and Clifford Day, 2618 N. Twentyâ€"first street, Milâ€" waukee, Wis. both members of Skoâ€" kie Valley camp. Mrs. Walters was painfully cut and bruised and Arno received a chest injury. All three cars were badly wrecked. Mental Patients At Great Lakes Enjoy Program Monday Three Highland Park musicians went to Great Lakes hospital for mental cases and gave a delightful musical program for patients in two wards, under the sponsorship of Mrs. E. R. Phelps and Mrs. Richâ€" ard Mansell, Monday afternoon. Mrs. Mary Ann MeEadden preâ€" sented a group of songs among which were "Shortenin‘ Bread", "On the Road to Mandalay" and "Where My Caravan Has Rested." Sigfried Hoermann and Morton Raff gave two violin numbers, "Carâ€" nival of Venice" and "Overture of Calith of Bagdad." while Morton Raff presented two solo arrangeâ€" ments of Cascatina by Raff and Salut D‘Amou. â€" These men are deeply gratefal for these entertainments for it helps to pass the many hours of living death for them. After the concert, several of the hospital inmates were heard humming music and it was most gratifying to know that this â€"entertainment had brought a amail gleam of sunshine into their lives. â€" The services of other talâ€" ented musisians is sought for foâ€" THE PRES8 ture entertainment for these war veterans.
