A total enrollment of 2757 stuâ€" dents, an increase of 104 over spring 1939, and one of the largest in the history of the college, was anâ€" nounced this week by D. H. Steward, registrar of Central YMCA college, 19 S, LaSalle street. Of these stuâ€" dents, 2101 are in the college and 656 are in the high school and secreâ€" tarial divisions. His report also showed an enrollment of 800 women, the largest ever recorded by the inâ€" stitution. Mr. James Thomson, worthy patâ€" ron of Campbell Chapter, O.E.S., will serve as worthy patron in Deerfield on "April 4th. Catherine Alice Davis, 550 S. Linâ€" den Ave., is among the students who are attending the Central YMCA college this spring. Hospital Auxiliary Meets The Womens Auxiliary of the Highland Park hospital will have their meeting Wednesday, April 10, at 10 o‘clock. Luncheon will be served. Communion at Bethany The regular quarterly communion service will be held at the Bethany Evangelical church Sunday morning at which time the pastor will offiâ€" ciate. The district superintendent, Rev. L. C. Schniidt, will be present at the 7:45 p.m. service at which time an opportunity will be given for communion to those who can not be present in the morning. The Evangelical church practices the open communion, which means that all Christian friends are invited to share in the service.
