Rabâ€" bi Shulman‘s topic will be "Fasâ€" cism Over Europe" in which he will portray not only the actual physical events of the war, but the spiritual values and personal difficulties it entails, with emphasis on what posâ€" sibilities the future may have in store for Europe, while Mrs. Shulâ€" man will deal with the same phases of "Fascism Over Africa and the Near East,‘ anticipating what may well be the future theatre of the war for the winter. Mrs. Benedict K. Goodman,* program chairman, has planned this program which will also feature a special wélcome to new members of the Sisterhood. In the morning, preceding the meeting, sewing for the Red Cross and local hospitals will be conducted as usual. ; There will be a sale of articles made by the blind, sponsored by Mrs. Edward S Weil,* at this meeting. Junior programs will present the "fibin Hood" ballet tomorrow (Friday) afternoon and evening at DRIVE SAFELY! * With the coming of the Fall and Winter months, when dusk comes earlier, there should also be an increase in the amount of caution used in driving autoâ€" mobiles. Particularly at night. National figures show that nearly 60 gerc_ent of all highway fatalities occur at night, when about oneâ€"third of the driving is ‘done. This means, then, that the motor vehicle death rate is three times as high at night as during the day. Â¥ Traffic accidents are also likely to be more serious at night than in the daytime, when only one in every fortyâ€"nine motor vehicle injuries are fatal, A number of causes contribute to this dangerous situation. A drinking driver puts in his appearance mostly at night. Motorâ€" ists after a hard day‘s work or a long day behind the wheel will find themselves fatigued and do not have the alertness necessary for safe driving. And last, but far from the least, imâ€" properly focused headlights or "oneâ€"eyed" cars contribute to a large number of accidents. Â¥ Remember the following rules when driving at night. Don‘t drive if you ‘have been drinking. Don‘t drive if you are tired. Have your headlights, brakes, tires and horn checkâ€" ed regularly. Dim your lights when approaching oncomine traffic and replace that burnedâ€" out bulb immediately. Let‘s all become SAFETY MINDED! * These messages sponsored by the following firms and individuals in cooperation with the Highland Park Press, Donald Bernardiâ€"Landscaping oratingâ€"734 Central Ave. Ermine Cleaners __ 1028 Clinton Court Smittv‘s Barber Shop Hirhwood 3710 "Cadillac Motor Car Division 22 N.
