Heating Service, Inc. * H E PR E88 Red Cross First Aid Classes For Police and Fire Departments Entire personnel of the Highland Park Police and Fire Departments is to receive training in Red Cross first aid in classes beginning next week, it has been announced by H. F. Kelley, general chairman of the Highland Park Red Cross. Two classes have been organized, one meeting Tuesday afternoons from 2 to 4 o‘clock beginning Januâ€" ary 21, and one Thursdauy evenings from 7 to 9 o‘clock, beginning Januâ€" ary 23. Each class will meet for 10 weeks. Police Chief Rex Andrews and Fire Chief Edward C. Hoksins, organized the classes, which will be taught by a staff instructor of the Chicago Chapter, â€" American â€" Red Cross. Red Cross first aid training inâ€" structs individuals in the care of accident victims before the arrival of a physician. Subjects include treatment of victims of fractures, poisons, burns, suffocation and other accidents.
