Moderator of Famous Town Hall Of the Air On Evanston Program Thursday, March 20, 1941 A typical town hall meeting diâ€" rected by George V. Denny Jr., moderator of the famous Town Meeting of the Air heard every week on a national radio network, will be the season‘s final feature of the Evanston Town Hall Wednesâ€" day night, March 26, at the Woâ€" man‘s club of Evanston auditorium. Mr. Denny, appearing in his cusâ€" tomary radio role as moderator of the meeting, will conduct a discusâ€" sion of the question, "Should Strikes Be Outlawed on Defense Work?" He will share the platform with two speakers of divergent views: Dr. Alfred P. Haake, industrial economâ€" ist and managing director of the National Association of Furniture Manufacturers, and Prof. William Gellerman of the school of educaâ€" tion at Northwestern.
