There were three tables. "Four Mothers," the latest of the gay, charming "Four Daughters" series will make its local debut at the Alcyon on next Wednesday, Thursâ€" day and Friday. All the favorites of the Lemp family are back in this newest adventure. The story is more dramatic than its predecessors beâ€" cause now the Four Daughters are Four Mothers, yet it contains much sparkling humor. Also on the same program you will see Gene Autry and Smiley Burnette in their very latest film "Ridin‘â€"On A Rainbow." "Flight Command" takes Robert Taylor, Ruth Hussey and Waiter Pidgeon through a whirl of dramatic episodes on land and in the clouds in a rapidâ€"fire blend of emotions, laughs and thrills. This spectacular new picture, filmed with the aid of the U. S. Robert Taylor in "Flight Command" At Alcyon Theatre _Mr. Betts has toured the country in concert and oratori with various musical organizations and has organâ€" ized and directed choral clubs and choruses in several cities He now sings over the radio on weekdays over WMAQ at 12:45 p.m. Local singers will be featured as soloists, and Mr. Betts will give speâ€" cial time to the development of promising voices. Anyone who wishes to enjoy the friendship of his musiâ€" cal neighbors, and who has not been reached by mail or phone is welcome to attend the meeting. It is hoped that more musical families will deâ€" cide to sing with the club on Tuesday nights, the usual nights of rehearsal. _ Under his leadership, the club will start work next Tuesday, on a conâ€" cert which will be given in June.
