Invite Inspection Within the past few weeks the Highland Park Hospital has replac- ed three pieces of out-worn equip- ment with new and modern machin- cry. A washing machine, in oper- ation since the hospital was built, lino ally wore itself out through 23 years of daily use. Now installed is a large double compartment cylinder wash- er. It has a direct-drive which elim- inates overhead shutting and pulleys, and is of larger capacity than the one it supplants. An extractor has likewise been installed to take the' place of the out-dated, uneconomical extractor formerly used. These new machines are of 40 per cent more capacity than the old and operate much more efficiently. The increased occupancy of the hospital with its attendant increase in laundry work make these two installations doubly important. H.P. Hospital Gets Modern Equipment 26 N.
