Sat- urday they were the guests of the Shintani Japanese Restaurant in Chicago for luncheon. The children were intensely interested in the Japanese room, the native costumes and the unusual food cooked under their eyes at the table. the Brownie Scouts of Troop 22 of the Lincoln school under the leadership of Mrs. Malcolm Sproul and Mrs. Frederick Toof have been studying International Friendship for the past two years. Last year the children made dolls of asbestos, wire and glue and dressed them in the authentic costumes of the countries they had studied.
