She passed away at her home April 10. The Mortons left here about thirteen years ago. Mr. Morton, at one time, was the owner of the North Shore Lumber company. An "A‘ rating was received by the first aid team of Boy Scout Troop 37, Highwood, in the regional first aid contest held Saturday in the 132nd regiment armory in Chiâ€" cago. Of the four North Shore Area Council teams which qualified for the regional meet, Troop 37 team was the only one attaining an "A" rating. 182 first aid teams from Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan and Indiana were competing in the meet. Lioyd Moon is scoutmaster of Troop 37, which is sponsored by the Stupeyâ€"Smith post of the American Legion. Evan Dever was the coach of this team whose members conâ€" sisted of: Henry Kusher, Leroy Youngs, Eugene Hainchek, Leonard Favelli and Robert O‘Brien. Mike Diasparra and Walter Burkhardt were patients. Having achieved the highest ratâ€" ing possible in the final contest the team will not be allowed to particiâ€" pate in next year‘s contest. This is the second consecutiev year that Troop 37 has had a topnotch team in the regional meet.
