The annual meeting of the Mothâ€" er‘s club is always a very successful one and this year invitations have been sent to Mrs. O. L. Olesen, an honorary member of the club, Mrs. Dwight Davis, president of the board of directors of the YWCA; Mrs. Theodore Osborn, of the coâ€" ordinating council and Mrs. Frank The annual meeting of the Mothâ€" er‘s club will be held Tuesday eveâ€" ning, June 10, at 6:30 o‘clock at the YWCA. Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. All members are urged to make reservations by Saturday, June 7. An election of officers will be held, followed by an interesting musical program and group singâ€" ing. Mrs. Thomas P. Clark, presiâ€" dent of the club, will preside. MOTHER‘S CLUB HOLDS ANNUAL DINNER AT Y After the organization of the permanent _ Deerfield Community Council in September a longâ€"range program is its aim with the propâ€" erty surrounding the school on three sides as the site for the munâ€" cipal buildings. The council will take under adâ€" visement a question of Irvin Dasâ€" so of the United States organizaâ€" tion regarding to what extent Deerâ€" field will aid the USO program which provides recreational activiâ€" ties for the present army and navy men. The summer recreational comâ€" mittee will have Ray Cox, seventh grade teacher in the Deerfield Grammar school as adviser and E. G. Jacobson chairman with Earl Hurt, James G. Russell and Mrs. E. M. Davis as members. The Deerfleld Community Counâ€" cil at its second meeting formed a temporary organization for the summer months with its immediate aim, a summer recreational proâ€" gram. The meeting was held last Wednesday evening in the school. Officers of the temporary organizaâ€" tion committee are: chairman, E. F. Nelson; secretary, Lester B. Ball; constitution and byâ€"laws comâ€" mittee, Milton O. Olson and Burâ€" ton B. McRoy, coâ€"chairmen, with Mrs. Charles J. Turner and Clarâ€" ence Wilson as members; publicity committee, E. F.
