Throughout his four years at Holy Cross, Green found time to devote to extracurricular activities as well as studies. A graduate of Loyola academy in the class of ‘37, he majored in economics. Mrs. Gilbert Hardacre, newly elected president of the Ravinia Woman‘s club, entertained the board at a luncheon at her home last Wednesday. Merit badges and first class awards were made. Mrs. Allen B. Discus is leader of the troop, and Mrs. Arâ€" thur Vyse Jr., is her assistant. The Musart club met at the home of Mrs. George H. Hinn, 919 Ridgeâ€" wood drive Monday afternoon. All officers of the Marion Avenue association were reâ€"elected at a meeting held last week. They are: William C. Wenninger, president; Mrs. Fred H. Smith, secretary; and John C. McAleer, treasurer. The association will hold their annual picnic, Saturday, June 28, at one of the member‘s home. Richard L. Bardnzelli is chairman of the party and will be assisted by Richard Fuller and Mrs. Fred Gieim. A barbecue luncheon was held at the home of Mrs. Lyle Gourley, 271 Cedar avenue, this afternoon. DAR CLOBES TERM WITH BARBECUE PARTY Miss Beverly Frisbie of 166 Lakeâ€" side Manor road, who attends Lake Erie college, Painesville, Ohio, was a member of the cast of "The Circle of Chalk," a 13th century Chinese fantasy presented as the comâ€" mencement play at the college Satâ€" urday evening, June 7. The Pearsons were married here May Miss Annette Jones, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Robert Jones of Vine avenue, is a candidate for «he Bachelor of Arts degree at the 63rd commencement of Wellesley college which will be held on June 16 in Alumnae hall. Miss Jones prepared for college at the North Shore Country Day school in Winnetka and the Bradâ€" ford Junior college in Bradford, Mass. At Wellesley she majored in the field of Biblical history. Miss Patricia Wilson, daughter of the Percy Wilson‘s, Lake Bluff, and John Harsen Rhoades III, have chosen June 28 as their wedding date. The ceremony will be perâ€" formed at the Church of the Holy Spirit, Lake Forest. Mr. Rhoades, formerly of Highland Park, is an ensign in the navy department, staâ€" tioned at Washington, where they will make their home. PATRICIA WILSON TO WED NAVY MAN Mrs. William Guyot was hostess to the members of the Woman‘s Misâ€" sionary society of the ‘ Highland Park Bethany Evangelical church, at her home, 598 Glenview avenue, this afternoon. Chandler Hatcher was elected president of the Westridge Comâ€" munity club Tuesday night. PI DELTA CLUB PROGRESSIVE DINNER Miss Gretchen Fischer and Stan Turner were voted the most popular girl and boy students at the Highâ€" land Park high school. Stan is president of the Student Council. He has been selected as the speaker for the annual commencement exerâ€" cists, June 21.
