She has taught classes at the Community Center of Beverly Hills, Illinois and for the past year has taught at Katharine Lord‘s Studio in Evanston. For the past three years she has exâ€" hibited in the Chicago and Vicinity Show at the Art Institute, at the Evanston Art:Center and last May had a one man show at the Galâ€" lery Studio in Chicago. She won the prize for sculpture at the Evanston and North Shore Artists Exhibition at the Evanston Womâ€" ans‘ Club in March. Her work can be currently seen at the Associated American Artists Galleries in Chicago. Don Yacoe will teach a painting class the same afternoons combinâ€" ing landscape, still life and paintâ€" ing from the model, instructing in all painting mediums. Students will have the opportunity of diâ€" viding their time if they wfsh, taking half the 15 lessons in cerâ€" amics with Mrs. Yacoe and half in painting with Mr. Yacoe. Mr. Yacoe was staff artist of the U. S. 8th Army in New Guinea, the Philippines and Japan painting murals; also painting series of water colors for Life Magazine. He was educated at the Uniâ€" versity of Chicago, graduated from the Art Institute of Chicago with a B.F.A. and was awarded the John _ Quiney Adams Foreign Traveling Fellowship.
