Mrs. Charles Rubens; Chairman, Nurses The Annual Meeting of the Woman‘s Auxiliary of the Highâ€" land Park Hospital was held last week, and the reports from varâ€" ious chairmen showed much had beern accomplished not alone in the field of surgical dressings but in gifts to the hospital and nurses home, sewing, membership and social service. Mrs. Maurice Graves who headâ€" ed the department of surgical dressings for the past eight years, is now retiring, her record of acâ€" complishments having been almost unbelievable. For the year she reâ€" ports 97,839 dressings. The splenâ€" did contribution of Mrs. Walter Baldwin who turned in 21,096 personally, has kept the hospital supplied. This work is carried on every Wednesday morning at the hospital, and workers are very badly needed, Mr. Lamley gave a talk to the members voicing his gratitude for the much needed equipment the Auxiliary has provided, and* outâ€" lined future plans and requireâ€" ments. A letter from Mr. ‘Chas. Grimes from the Men‘s Board of the Hospital was received with much gratification. The nominatâ€" ing committee presented the list of officers for the coming year, who were duly elected.
