Fine Dry Cleaning VOGUE Third Annual Educational Workshop In District 107 Teachers of School District 107 will be returning this weekâ€"end to take part in the third annual eduâ€" cational workshop which this year School from August 15th through selected by staff members working with Dr. Dahle. The schedule of Parent Participation Continued Parents of Elm Place and Green Bay children will again participate in many of the workshop activities. Some mothers of upperâ€"grade chilâ€" dren will serve with teachers on the Extraâ€"Curricular Committee been set up by a special commitâ€" which will be concerned with the development of balanced extraâ€" curricular and outâ€"ofâ€"school proâ€" grams. Other parents will be atâ€" tending andâ€"or participating in some of the special meetings that have been scheduled. These meetâ€" ings include informal conversaâ€" tional sessions with the special teachers, the Guidance Director, and the School Nurse. Several inâ€" formational films on Child Growth and Development have been seâ€" cured and scheduled especially for parents. Parents new to Highland Park or new to District 107 may be interested in attending some of the special sessions which have been planned for the new teachâ€" ers. These sessions will be devoted to such topics as "Our Philosophy and . Objectives of Education," "Principles of Learning and Teaching," and "An Experience Curriculum." All of the Workshop meetings are open to parents, Opening Session The opening session of the Workshop will be held at 9:30 Monday morning, August 1§th. Following the introduction of new staff members, Mr. Franklin J. Lunding, President of the Board of Education, will give a word of welcome. At this session, deâ€" tailed information about the orâ€" ganization of the Workshop, areas for study, committee membership, working centers, etc. will be given. Lake Zurich Playhouse Next Wednesday through Sunâ€" day, August 17 to 21, the Lake Zurich Playhouse will present their annual . Mellerâ€"Dramer, ‘"The Drunkard."" This production ‘ will be presented in the florid style of the 1890 period with singing and dancing between acts. THE PRESS Woman‘s Club Announces New Dance Club, "The Highland Fling" _ HIGHLAND FLING". This club will replace the dinner dances of the past with four supper dances throughout the winter.
