Penwell, Jr. on Saturday, August 20. The 7:30 p.m. candlelight ceremony was read "by the Rev. Father Golder. Baskets of white gladioli and baby white astors decorated the church. The bride is the daughter of the Arthur H. Maâ€" sons of 8113 Kincaid avenue and the bridegroom is the son of the senior Penwells of Pana, lilinois. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, was gowned in white satin made with a sweetheart neckline and trimâ€" med with embroidered pearls. The bodice of the gown was fitted and the full skirt ended in a long train. The sleeves tapered in points over the hands. Her full length illusion net veil fell from a rosepoint heirloom French cap, which belonged to her maternal grandmother. Her bouquet was of white roses and gardenias. The bride‘s sister, Miss Adcle Mason, who attended as maid of honor, arrived home only the week before from a sevenâ€"week European trip. Her ice blue satin frock had a round neckline and puff sleeves. Her bouffant skirt was over ruffied net. The satin edging on the Wateau bonnet she wore matched her gown, She carâ€" ried roses tinted to match her dress and baby white asters. The bridesmaid, Miss Muriel Craig of Wilmette, wore a pale pink satin gown and bonnet made like that of the maid of honor. Her pink roses matched her gown. The young couple will live in Urbana where they are students at the University of lllinois. Mr. Penwell will enter his senior year in the fall and his bride will conâ€" tinue her art work.
