WEEKâ€"END VISIT THIS WEFK HOME FROM @NGLAND AND SCOTLAND On Friday Mr. and Mrs. Harold W. Schimmelfeng of 1630 Broadâ€" view avenue returned from a seven weeks‘ trip abroad. Comâ€" bining business and pleasure they spent one month in London and the remainder of the time in northern England and Scotland. They returned home aboard the Queen Elizabeth, IDA BERNARDINI, A BRIDE St. James church, Highwood, was the scene of the wedding of Miss Ida Marie Bernardini and Gino Santi on Saturday, October 22, at 9:30 o‘clock in the mornâ€" ing. The Rev. Arthur Douaire heard the exchange of nuptial vows. The bride is the daughter of the Emil Bernardinis of Webster avenue, Highwood, and the brideâ€" groom is the son of the Louis Santis of 520 Ravinia road. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a hoop skirted gown of white satin. The bodice cof the dress was trimmed with beaded lace. The fingertip veil she wore fell from a crown headdress. She carried a white prayer book marked with gardenias. The maid of honor, Miss Dirce Santi, sister of the bridegroom, was gowned in fuschia satin and she carried a bouquet of pink baby chrysanthemums. Her feathered headdress matched her gown. Three cousins of the bridegroom, Miss Josephine Minorini, Miss Elizabeth â€" Picchietti and â€" Miss Louise Santi, attended as bridesâ€" maids. Their emerald green gowns and matching feathered headâ€" dresses were made like that of the maid of honor. They, too, carried pink baby cbrysantheâ€" mums. Little Mary Eileen Santi, niece of the bridegroom, acted as flower girl. Her dress was of white satin and her bouquet like that of the other attendants. Stephen Santi, nephew of the bridegroom, was ring bearer. . John Piccrietti served his cousin as best man and the ushers were Hugo Bernardini, brother of the bride, Leonard Favelli, her cousin, and Guido Galassini. The bride‘s mother chose a brown dress for the occasion, complemented by a green hat and accessories. _ The _ bridegroom‘s mother was in a plum colored dress and her hat and accessories were black. Each wore a corsage of gardenias. Solos were sung by Miss Maria Santi and by Enea Picchietti. A trio was also sung by Miss Santi, Mr. Picchietti and Anthony Biagi. A breakfast for the bridal party and immediate families, at the Highwood Community Center, folâ€" lowed the ceremony. A dinner at 2:30, also for the bridal party and immediate families, was held there. In the evening the Community Center was again the scene of a reception. About five hundred guests attended. Following a two weeks‘ honeyâ€" moon in Colorado, Mr. Santi and his bride <will reside at 520 Raâ€" vinia road. COLORADO VISITORS Mrs. Jean Schryver and daughâ€" ter, Miss Jean, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, left Sunday after spending a few days with the D. C. Plummers of 1331 Wade street, brother and sisterâ€"inâ€"law of Mrs. Schryver. The Schryvers had been visiting for several weeks in the middle west.
