The annual luncheon of the four Infant Welfare groups of Highâ€" land Park and Ravinia was held at the Moraine Hotel on May 23. The very successful and enjoyable affair was arranged by Mrs E.. E. Mead and Mrs. Wm. Gooch. Tasteâ€" ful decorations of geraniums were arranged by Mrs. Wm. Elston. All were members of the junior groups. Guests from the downtown headquarters, introduced by Mrs. Milton Hardacre, president of the Junior group 1, were: Mrg Mcâ€" Creary, superintendent of nurses, Miss Townsend, extension secreâ€" tary, and Mrs. McCord, president of the Infant Welfare auxiliary. Representatives of the local newsâ€" papers were also introduced: Each of the four groups partiâ€" cipated in the entertainment. The senior group presented a clever skit portraying an Infant Welfare meeting 100 years from now, with futuristic costumes. Taking part were Mesdames Edwin Hadley, John Morrissy, Elwood Hansmann, C.. L. Felske, James Davis and Lindell Petersort Mrs. Hadley was in charge of the skit. â€" Groups 1 and 2 of the Juniors put on a song and dance. Mrs. John Kies and Mrs. â€" Warner Smoot, as "juniors", introduced the 13 chorines dressed as little girls and holding cards spelling Inâ€" fant Welfare. Words of the song were created by Mrs. R. Gillispie, music by Mrs. Lawrence Smith and choreography by Mrs. James Kelly.
