Time and space will not permit us to mention the dif ferent costumes there represented, but can only say there wore a gt^od variety, representing almost every nation, besides several of a local nature, among which were Hanley's Mtll, the Cogtume being made from Flour Sacks, and the PLAINDEAXER, the Dress being made principally of copics of the PLAIN- DICALKR. These were very striking costumes, and show that In parties of this kind home prbvised* costuVnes can be made to represent almost any kind of business. > The music on this oceasion^ by the Geneva Lake Band, Is pronouncod by all to surpass anything ever before heard in this section. The changes in the Dances were all new, the calling clear and distinct, plainly heard iu every part of the Hall, while our best musicians say the time was perfect. We think we .do not ex?gerate when we say that Rogers & Gillett's Band of Geneva Lake, is the best Quadrille Band in the Northwest. Iu fact we hardly believe it can be bettered. The Supper gotten up by mine host Wightmnn, of the Riverside House, was, as usual, A. No. 1, and gave euiire satisfaction to the company assembled. Had the roads been passable the Hali would hardly held the crowd' that would have been theie .assembled, but it was simply impossible to get around with a team or even on foot. It is to be hoped that a Party of this kind will be gtven at some other time when the roads are passable, as there are many who were anxious to attend who were for this reason prevented. It was an occasion that will long be remembered with pleasure by all who participated. THE time hasitt last arrived.
