Five hundred was played during the evening and high honors were won by Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Kane, while consolations •went to Mrs. Peter Weber and Peter Weingart. As the following day was the birthday anniversary of Mrs. Freund she was presented with a gift from the guests which came as a pleasant surprise to her.
