E. corner of the NK14 of the NE14 of Sec. 27 T. 45 N. R. 7 E of the 3rd P. Stevens that the resolution be adopted by this Board. And, the roll being called, said motion waa declared unanimously carried. Supr. Hale, Chairman of the Road and Bridge Committee, was called upon to explain the location of the .various improvements on County roads. Mr. Hale called upon County Superintendent of Highways, C. L. Tryon, who explained in detaii the location and kind of improvements being made. And also explained in answer to Supr. Hale's inquiry what was causing the delay on said Improvements. The cost of the machine to be Two Thousand Four Hundred Seventy One Dollars and Ninety-nine Cents ($2- 471.99). On motion of Supr. Beck and duly seconded by Supr. Brown, said matter was laid over for one month. The Committee on Right of Way made the following report, to-wit: Mr. Chairman and Gentlemen of the Board of -Supervisors, McHenry County, Illinois: The undersigned members of the Right of Way comrrflttee would beg leave to report that we -met on the tth day of October at the Schmidt Farm oil the State Aid Roud known as the Twin Lakes road north-east of Richmond and secured the right of way requested by the County Road and Bridge Committee at the north end of the road at the curves near the State line for the sum of 1450. It was thereupon regularly moved by Supr. Hemraer and duly seconded by Supr. Freund that the resolution on Right of Way Purchase be adopted by this Board. And, the roll being called, said motion was declared unanimously carried. Supr. Brown, Chairman of the Right of Way Committee, stated that all of the Right of Way pn Routes 176, 47 and 67 was now purchased and that they had advertised for bids and would let the contract on the 26th of this month. The Clerk announced that the total of Poor Claims allowed at this meeting was $5,405.12. It was thereupon regularly moved by Supr. Brown and duly seconded by Supr. Filip that $4,500.00 be transferred and appropriated from the General Fund to the Pauper Fund to pav said claims. And, the roll being called, said motion was declared unanimously carried. Several communications fro'iti the State of Illinois Department of Public WorHs and Buildings were presented together with the statements of conditions of the State Bank of Woodstock, State Bank of Huntley, First State Bank of Harvard, and the Ca^y State Bank which were ordered placed on file. The Chairman, Paul Rosenthal, announced that be had received a communication from Mrs. Marsh of the I. E. R. C. stating that any applicants for enrollment in C. C. Harrison, Chairman of the Special Committee on care of the Somas reported that his Committee rented a suitable home in Hartland Township for ten dollars ($10.00) a month; that they had purchased school books for all the children and secured their admittance to a fine school and also were paying for two gallons of milk a day at a cost of twenty cents per gallon and that the I. E. R. C. were furnishing other necessities. The Chairman complimented Mr. Harrison and his committee for the splendid manner in which the case was handled. The Chairman stated that Mr. Lumley asked him if it would be all right if he used the old sheriff's office on the main floor for his office for a short while and that he informed him that he was sure that it would meet with the approval of the Board. The Chairman called upon the Committee to settle with thei Treasurer for a report on the Peteit and Hendricks matters. Supr. Palmer, Chairman ef Raid Committee, stated that his committee met with Mr. Lumley on November 1st, upon the State's Attorney's request. and after talking w'th the committee Mr. Lumley was of the opinion that he was misinformed as to several items.
