Solos were handled with aplomb by Marianne ' CHauser, Betty Jean Long, Elaine Nell, Art Epert, Lois Weidemann, Alfaina Samac, Bob Svoboda and Bob Felse. Accompaniment was provided by Carol Harrison, Marianne Glauser and Betty Jean Long. The seventy-voieed mixed ehorns, accompanied by the orchestra, then presented the climax of the evening, "The Nativity.H White gowned, a n g e l i c - l o o k i n g chorus members, off to the left of the auditorium, satyr in beautiful harmony as the various stages of the Chrst Child's birth were portrayed in tableau form on the stage. Murphy andfamily' have moved from the upper apartment in the Joe Tonyan home on Waukegan street to their new home on Maple avenue in- the north end of the city. Chicago last Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kempfer, Sr., and Mr. and Mrs, Frank Kempfer, Jr., and son spent Sunday as gnests in the Fred Simon home in Chicago. John Schreiner of Elgin attended funeral services "for William Schreiner at St. Mary's church* on Monday morning. Mr. and Mrs. Percy Lodtz of Crystal Lalre attended the Christmas choral concert in McHenry on Sunday evening Mrs. Joa Masquelet and daughter of Chicago attended funeral services for John NMsa at St. Patrick's church on Monday morning. Mrs. Laura Edwards of Marengo visited her sister. Mrs. O. Tolllccfsen, on Saturday. Mrs. Henry .Schaffer and Mrs. Celia Knox attended funeral services for William Smith of Grayslake last week. Mr. Smith, 89, died at St. Therese hospital, Waukegan, following a (fall in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Harry Geary, a few days previous, in which ne suffered a fractured hip. Mr. and Mrs. Cartas Fillweber of Belvidere visited in'the home of Mr. and Mrs. Peter W. Freund on Sunday. Miss Nellie Doherty spent Saturday in Chicago. Mr. and Mrs. E> B. Ward and Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Mosher were Skokie callers on Sunday evening Mr. and Mrs.. Joseph May and daughters, Joann and Lois, visited relatives in Elmhnrst on Sunday.
