Education: graduate of Armour Institute of Technology in the department of Civil Engineering.
Employment: engineer with the Illinois State Highway dept for over twenty years.
Military: serviced in the United States Navy in World War I for five years and as a Lt. Commander in the SeaBees in the Second World War. Upon his return to the U.S., he served as public works officer at the Glenview Naval Air Station for two years.
Spouse: Selma B.
Funeral: at the Community Church.
Survived by: wife, Selma B. Missner, his daughter, Claire, a senior at New Trier; four sister and three brothers: Frank Missner of Terra Bella, California; Mrs. James Paden, Mrs. David Storley, and John Missner of Beloit, Wisc.; William Missner of Chicago; Mrs. James Passero of Detroit, Michigan; and Mrs. Frank Howell of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisc.
Preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Missner of Detroit, and Max Missner who died in World War I. - Date of Publication
