All Chicagoland high school students are eligible to submit essays which will be judged by a board of experts' chosen from the fields qf journalism, education and advertising. The author of the best Chicago essay will receive a $100 government bond and a plaque for his or her high school. In addition, the winning essay will be entered in a similar national contest to compete for prizes totaling- $800, and an all-expense trip- to the national Convention of the Advertising Federation of America to be held in St. Louis, Mo., June 10-13.
