DAVID SWITZER Mr. and Mrs. Dqvid Switzer have returned form a wedding trip through the South and will reside in Idyll Dell, McHenry. The McHenry man, son. of Mr. and Mrs. Russell M. Switzer, exchanged vows with Miss Jolene Gaston, daughter of the Howard K. Gastons of Antioch, oh 8U&day, April 12, at St, Ignatius'Episcopal church, Antioch. Mrs. Carol Walter, sister of the bridegroom, acted as matron of honor and the Misses Gail Dietrick, Judy Gaston, Mary Shepard and Jill Gaston were bridesmaids. Frank Walter served his brother-in-law as best man. Groomsmen were Robert Switzer, brother of the groom, John Barnings, Jr., and Allan Ives, all of 'McHenry, and Homer Gaston, brother of the bride. Mrs. Switzer is a graduate of Antioch high school and has been employed at the Williams department store in Antioch. Mr. Switzer, a graduate of Amundsen high school, is associated with his father in the Switzer Boat company in McHenry. He was a bombardier in the Navy Ajr Corps from 1944 to 1846. . Shs also honored our Auxiliary by installing the officers who were unable to attend or were, performing other duties at the time of the joint installation. At the dinner given by the annual V.A.V.S award ceremony our Auxiliary was further honored last week April 22, when Betty Clark and Connie Thomas received a certificate for out> standing volunteer work fqr tlie past year. Ever since our Auxiliary ha? taken oyer the Downey hospital affairs some of our ladies have donated as much as 1000 hours to entertaining the patients there. We are proud of these ladies for the good work they are doing.
