Perhaps we can best give you the important information on .the tournament by giving *you.,a copy of the regulations as set forth for the various tpaniif "• Grade School Softball - Tournament Sponsor: This tournament is being sponsored by the McHenry V. F. W. Drill Squad. Object: The tournament is formed to develope the minds and bodies of boys in the Grade School age group, to stimulate in them a desire to take part in clean healthful recreation, and to create an interest in the competitive game of softball. Eligibility: Any pupil in 5, 6, 7 or 8 grade who has not reached his 16th birthday and is in good standing with his school may play in the tournament. Rosters: 15 players are allowed on the roster of each school team. Please hand in a list of the players at the first game. Regulations: This will be an -elimination tournament. Seven innings will constitute an official game. Softball bats must be supplied by ."the individual teams. The regulation 12" softball will be used. They will be supplied by the sponsor.
