They were joined by their son, Edward, granddaughter, Cathy, and the Clarence Millers of Chicago. , Mr* and Mrs. A. Kotifw family were here to open their summer hpme in Niesen's subdivision over last weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Thelen, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Dehn and Mr. and Mrs. James Hettermann were guests at the home of the Gene Kings of McHenry on Tuesdiay evening. Tfie occasion was their monthly canasta club. Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Meyers of McHenry were there also. A fire swept the interior of the home of ' James J. Adduci, former state representative of Chicago, last Friday. Mrs. Marie Scherman, a friend of the Adduci family, lost her life due to burns and suffocation. Mrs. Scherman was alone i& tho -home when the fire broke eut. Mr. Adduci intends to rsihodti his home in the near future.
