Woman's Club Plans For Christmas Party t A good attendance of members and guests were present at the last meeting of the McHenry Woman's club, held at the Legion Home Nov. 13. A discussion of timely local, county and eleventh district club business took place and letters were read indicating different types of welfare work engaged in by clubs of the county and district. Plans were started for the annual spring benefit for the public library. It is to be a luncheon for members and the general public. Very interesting picture slides of the Gaspe Peninsula in Canada were shown by Mrs. Mea of Kenosha, who also comment on them. t/ Plans were discussed for the annual Christmas party which is to be held for club members and guests and their children on Dec. 11 at 3 p.m. Each member is asked to bring a gift to be taken to the Hartland Old Folks' home. Following the nuptials, a reception and dinner were enjoyed at the Legion Home, with Miss Doris Bauer, sister of the groom, in charge of the guest book.
