HARRY HERENDEEN SEEKS ELECTION A3 COUNTY SHERIFF Prom the county seat in Woodstock came word this past week that Harry Herendeen, chief deputy sheriff, had announced his candidacy for the Republican nomination for sheriff at the primaries in April of next year. Announcement was made at the monthly meeting of the county deputy sheriffs association, held at Union. j It will be remembered that Mr, Herendeen also ran for office in 1950, and in a large field Of candidates ran close to the winner and present office-holder, Henry A. Nulle. The latter appointed him his chief deputy soon afterward. Petitions have also been circulated for Raymond D.
